It seems like it may be if you watch even 2 or more movies a month, huh?
What are the downfalls of it?
Is Blockbuster through the Mail better?

I have netflix, I love it. I live in a rural area and the nearest blockbuster is like 20 miles away. I have the option where they send me 3 DVD's at a time. the blockbuster one may be better if you live near a blockbuster and end up watching a movie early in the day and want another one right away.

the shipping time on netflix is really quick to.. although netflix nor blockbuster online ship during the weekends... so again if you live near a blockbuster that may be the way to go.

I used to have Netflix and changed to Blockbuster. The main reason for changing is that I have a BB store in walking distance and the in-store exchange means I don't have to be without a movie.
Anyway, as you mentioned, if you watch rent more than a few movies each month, you would probably save money using either Netflix or Blockbuster ;-)

I like Netflix and have used it for several years. I use the 3-movie plan. Movies get to me in 1-2 days. My friend prefers Blockbuster, but she likes going to the video store to drop off movies. I don't really care to go to the store (that's why I use an online service!).

Blockbuster through the mail is absolutely great. Fast shipping, fast re-delivery of your dvd queue list. Not to mention tip-top service and competitive prices.

Anyway I stumbled across a site that gives you a $20 cash back when you signup for a 1 month trial membership to Blockbuster - pays straight to your Paypal account. Its at thefreebieworld.com/dvdrental - I've got a friend who's actually gotten paid. Might wanna go give it a shot.

I love netflix myself it is well worth it. From what I have heard with blockbuster you can go in and exchange it, but if you chose to get movies to your home is that not the point of netflix? And also even if you do go in if blockbuster happens to be packed you have to wait in line so I would gladly choose netflix over blockbuster anyday.

The downfalls of Netflix when you send it back in you have to wait for another one to come in. the blockbuster one you can either mail it in or take it to the store and get another one.

Netflix was pretty cool while I had it. They have a HUGE selection of movies. The only real downfall I saw was when new releases came out they sometimes had a longer wait time.

They get your movies to you very promptly, on one occasion a DVD arrived broken and they replaced it with no questions asked. The only reason I stopped using it was because I own a DVD collection of over 500 movies... so I wasn't using it enough to make it worth my while.

But I always do recommend it.

I would recommend Netflix. They have a new offer to help them compete with Blockbuster, Now you can get some in the mail and watch some free on your computor.
