The best support most of us ordinary folk can offer - apart from prayer for Maddy - is probably by passing on the emails with the info and her picture, especially to our overseas contacts, in the hope that someone will recognise her somewhere. Ribbons can be bought at any fabric shop or haberdashery counter, and tied or twisted how you want - though they won't do much good! There is a website with info for those who wish to donate cash, though they have probably received enough in large donations to pay for the search efforts that are planned so far: www.findmadeleine.com
PS A question deserves a straight answer. And since the police are having no success so far in finding this little girl, an international search by personal initiative seems like a reasonable way to go. Can anyone suggest anything else?

Getting Madeleine back safe and well is the most important thing. Giving money or wearing a ribbon will not achieve that.
If you want to donate money to charities who work with missing children, that could be useful to someone.

The McCann's have a website, go there and you can donate on-line.
www.bringmadeleinehome.com
As well as a daily summary of what is happening regarding the hunt for Madeleine, there is audio as well.

If you feel the need to be involved in this ludicrous farce you could easily buy a length of ribbon from a craftshop and recreate the style of it.gordon brown was modelling one today.

Any drapers shop sells bandwagon ribbbon.
Get on quick though - it'll be chip paper soon and you'll have to wait until the McCanns publish "their story".

send your donation to http://www.nspcc.org.uk/
They will appreciate it much better. The McCann fund is not a charity, it is a business.
