I recently had to fully restore my computer due to a hard drive failure. well i replaced hard drive and computer works but i lost sound and ability to get online or connect to internet. i have a built in wireless card

go into wireless program and set as active or turn on and for sound go to windows update and get all updates as windows forgets the sound driver sometimes i do not know why but it does

you will need the cd that came with the computer so that you can install the drivers for the sound card and wireless card, if you have not got this cd disk, then goto the manufactures support website and download the drivers for the above items

If you don't have the cds, you can always visit the manufacturer's website for support. Then download all your pc's drivers, or the updated versions. Good luck~

I too had the equivalent predicament, besides the undeniable fact that i solved it.. a million) look at whether u have attached the right driving force 2)bypass to the producer's internet site and determine whether u have have been given to configure something ( i had to do it for my NETGEAR router)
