My American govt teacher actually posed this question to the class and the answer she gave was great. She said she would change the fact that Americans always seem to blame others for their actions.

I would change the attitude that someone owes us something. Americans have gotten fat and lazy. We have the ability to work hard & be inventive but we're so busy buying stuff, playing Wii & watching cable, that the world is passing us by. I'd like to see us go back to being hard working like during and after WW2.

I would change the fact that we are the world wide police department. Let other countries take care of themselves for once!!!! We should only have a limited helping hand.

I would change our procreation rights. A couple would have to prove and take a test before they aloud to have children. If they are NOT fit parents and NOT financially stable they cannot have kids. If they ARE fit parents but NOT financially stable they are limited to the number of kids. Get rid of all these dead beat parents and maybe we would have a better society.

we are really stupid and fat and seem to critcize other people but they dont look on what have theyve done for example tom has a drinking problem but always critizises john for smoking and freedom of speech like y do we have it but cant use it like when making video games and using Yahoo
