Thunderstorm is not that great at all. Except here in Australia we need them because it's very dry at the moment. The more rain of any kind helps a lot. I don't like thunderstorm myself, I'm scared of lightning & thunder, i freak out when it happen. I just sit still in one corner until its gone Some here are praying for anything that will make rain or thunderstorm happen.

The state of Florida has been confirmed to have the most lightning strikes and flashes per day in the WORLD. It is the lightning capitol. The electrical colision of the atlantic and Gulf streams around the state act as a virtual electromagnet for Atmospheric electricity. I lived there for 16 years of my life and never have I seen anything quite so awesome and beautiful as the light shows that put Disney World TO SHAME. When there is enough flooding in Central Florida the heat difference stops, so the hurricanes stop, such as two or three years ago when the whole place was five inches underwater.

thunderstorms are awesome, especially after a hot, long, summer day it all just comes crashing down and the rain starts pouring, like nature is finally getting it out after a stressful hot day.

there are only two things you can do during a thunderstorm...and I choose not to waste them sleeping! ;)
that is what is so great about them.

They're loud, but they make you sleep better, they're fun to watch...I love thunderstorms in the summer, they're at their worst then...

It is very possible they can produce Tornadoes, and that is interesting. I did see a funnel cloud once. It was coming down and luckly we were moving away from it on the highway.

They are so powerful, they're comforting. They usually lull me to sleep. They're also somewhat of an aphrodisiac.

They're unordinary and unusual and i love the thunder and the lightning. it's just amazing.
