I would lower your seat, by replacing the seat with an aftermarket replacement or have your seat foam shaved down and reupholstered. This way you won't alter your already awesome suspension.

you could flip the dogbone (suspension linkage under the rear shock) or buy a shorter dogbone.
And you can drop the triple clamps down the fork tubes.
But understand all of these will affect your suspension and handling, as you are changing the steering angle, rake, trail, etc.
Have you looked into a lower seat? Corbin makes a series of aftermarket seats with 'cut down' padding, that can actually give you an inch or so less seat height.

If you really want to lower the bike, without affecting suspension/handling performance? your best bet is a professional suspension tuner. Who can cut the springs, put in different spacers, etc. and lower the bike, without changing performance.
I like Phil at www.aftershocks-suspension.com but there are many shops, maybe one in your area.
good luck.

Lowering a bike is a mistake, if you have to do something shave the seat. Most of your pro racers are jockey sized like yourself.

i think it's the other way around... in my case, i had a Suzuki Bandit V GSF400, and i had to replace the dogbone with a SHORTER one to raise my tail!!! meaning, to lower it down, you have to replace it(dogbone) with a longer one!!! good luck!
