Did you know that spending on education in the USA has consistently gone up over the past decade or so and is one of the highest per capita in the world?

Maybe the USA would be better served if they cut education funding (forcing public school systems to be more fiscally responsible) and spent even more on Israel (which will ensure America's interests in the Middle East).

I don't have a problem with Israel in particular but with the money we give away as a whole. There is a whole lot of things that need to be done here before we help people in other countries. This has been going on for years so you can't look at one administartion and blame them , however it would be a good thing to be known as the administration that stops it. If government officials feel the need to give away all this money they need to get the money by cutting their own salaries , expense accounts , fringe benefits , and pork they attach to bills for needless stuff in their home states. The tax payers should not have to foot the bill for overseas welfare.

Forget about Israel, in the United States each illegal alien in our public school system is costing us just under $10,000 dollars a year per student. Our churches, which always has to do what is nice has been greatly helping these aliens. Wonder if that is part of the reason why so many Catholic schools are being close down?

None - The Federal government does not pay for schools. Local government (State, County and City) decide how much to pay to schools and which ones to open and close as the local population fluctuates. The Federal government only pays for program grants to schools.

If we quit providing military hardware to Israel and the other Middle Eastern countries it would hurt our local governments due to lost wages in the production of armaments. So welfare to Israel opens more schools in America.

I do not think the US would want to cut aid to Israel. Israel is a vital aid intelligence wise to Israel. Israel is also one of the USA's closet allies. They are one of only three other countries that have the same voting record as the US.
