Trust me, most people in other countries (I'm Canadian) don't think that every single American is a war monger and an idiot.
We just know Bush is and hate (and I mean HATE) him for it.
It's unfortunate when a person judges an entire country based on their government. Like how some people assume that because I live in Quebec, I must be French and must be a coward and must smell bad. Come on. Although Montreal is full of hippies..I digress.
MOST of us know it's not the American people, but their administration. MOST of us know that the ignorant Americans we do encounter are ignorant because of their shoddy government and don't know any better.
I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I guess you can say the American people voted him in. But then again there's no safe voting. The electronic voting machines have been and will be hacked. So much controversy over everything. I'd suggest going back to paper ballots, and I wouldn't care if it takes weeks to get an answer. It shouldn't be electoral voting that represents the people. It should be the people representing the people. Maybe we should do a history lesson and see how they voted in presidents before the electoral system came into play.
Most people are afraid of what their government is capable of doing, that is not a democracy. That's TYRANNY!! Congress has got to stop cowarding this president and start overruling him when allowed.
Yep, Bush's approval rating's love to drop. That should be a good indicator of how he's running this country(into the ground). And it should be also, what counteracts as well. Seems to be a horrific event(hint hint: 9/11, Iraq War) to boost them back. Get the people rallied up and behind him against whatever enemy he decides fit to fulfill the NWO agenda. I'm personally sick of it. He's now has dictatorial powers(executive orders which will allow Homeland Security to make sure our "safety and security" are in check. More of like, anyone who disagrees, SHOOT'EM. So in my simple words(which some will ridicule and laugh at)......WAKE THE FCUK UP!!!!! AND MAKE YOUR LINE IN THE SAND!!!!

I hate to say it but it's not just bush who doesn't care. our government has been lying to us and acting like they are concerned with what the american public needs for years way before bush was in office. how many politicians have you seen that said they were going to do something immediately when they got in office or they represented the working man, but when they did get into office it was just business as usual? not just on a national level but all over the country people every day are being shafted by federal and local governments. not every politician there are a few good apple samong the bunch but most of them are looking for ways to fill their pockets and the pockets of their constituents with your taxpayer money.
now bush is pretty bad but he's not the only one to blame in this 3 ringed circus we call our government. the fact is everyone is to blame some wayy more than others. but the truth is why do we keep electing these people ? why do we continue to let the media distort the truth to the point that whatever jumbled garbage that comes out in the end is barely news. we the people need to stand up for the rights of everyone and start holding our government accountable for their inexcusable actions!
heath care for the masses, social security, the "drug" war, iraq, illegal immegration, the list goes on and on and on of things that people are neglecting.
when people watch the elections all they hear from the news is political spin this, how are they gonna win iowa, where they're heading.. blah blah blah no one is really sitting down and asking the real questions at hand and telling the public about it. it's just 2 parties doing whatever they can to out do the other in whatever way and it's turned into a name calling 5th grade playground freeforall it's absurd all of it...
i say we revolt

I, indeed, understand your point of view, but from a different perspective. It bugs the hell out of me when I hear someone like Senator Reed or Rep. Pelosi say the same thing. They're approval rating is down there with Bush's. You know, if they were to say, "Americas want more money..." or "Americans like an occasional day off work..." That wouldn't bother me, but like you, I reject the all inclusive endorsement of whatever their special of the day is. Your question was a good one and hopefully you will consider my answer as a civil response, but I would hope you put more thought into proof as to "all the evil deeds he does." That's not productive.

It clearly shows the horrendous scale of the agenda the current administration has.
They simply do not care what the people think or say, as they have put themselves in a position to satisfy their every device without serious consequences.
EDIT:
xsneaker: That is also the general consensus in Europe as well. They hate Bush, but they do not hate Americans.
They understand that the majority of Americans did not vote for him or approve of his actions.

I like this question. I wonder why you didn't get more answers so far? I answered a question last night, asked by someone in another country, and he or she was making the assumption that Americans are the real terrorists. I tried to make it clear to this person, that it is not the people who are to blame for this behavior. I hope he or she understood! LZ

This is the fact. You did not vote for him but as President of the United States he does represent the American people.

The same American people that can't name all 50 states.
The same American people that would rather watch American Idol than the news.
The same American people who make a game out of avoiding jury duty.
The same American people that half of them won't bother going to the polls for the Presidential election.
That "American people"
