I download movies using BitTorrent, so I was wondering if the 15Megabit per second would make much difference against the 5Megabit per second.

Also, does the 2Megabit upload helps?

well it depends on how many computers are connected to ur network. If u have more than 2 than i suggest the 15mbps. I would quit downloading movies off of BT if i were u cause Verizon moniters wat u do and uses packet shaping to slow down bittorent. If they ever wanted 2 they could turn it in, then the MPAA could get u. But the chances r highly unlikely

well the best choice I see is to get the 5/2 package..try it out and see if you can live with it...if not you can always upgrade later.. it's hard to go down is speed than increasing it... it all depends on how much $$$ are you willing to pay... I think there is also a 10/2 package too so you can step yourself up.

With bittorrent you only as fast as the site is uploading... adn the slowest link in the path to your PC... if your downlaod speed is matching you max download speed your paying for than maybe increaseing your speed will be good...if your downloading at a lesser speed and the other end is the problem why pay for wasted bandwith.

my pc is wide open and have never gotten above a 200kb download for the 5mb package... look at your download speeds...

anywho hope this helps/

If you are fetching movies, you want the faster speed. The upload speed is just fine.

you are limited by the seeders on those files...so having 15mbps compared to 5mbps won't change.
