" I can't believe i'm actually doing this", thought nick as he got out of his old VW bus. Turning in a slow circle, he took in all the details of his surroundings: the low layer of fog that clung to surface of the duck pond, and the strange silence that made the atmosphere seem heavy and oppressive.
" I should never have let Lilliana talk me into investigating this Big Foot appearance. it's just silly." he turned back to his VW to get his camera, and stopped short. His car was gone. in fact, the road and parking lot were gone as well. He was standing in an unkempt field next to the duck pond, a field that had most certainly not been there a few minutes ago. Nick was starting to really worry when a sudden loud roar broke out behind him. whirling around and falling to the ground, nick tried to find the source of the bestial noise that had sounded so close behind him, but the fog obscured his view.

"Big Foot has been sighted at the local duck pond." He stopped reading the note to jot down some notes, using the post-it notes closest to this phone. A good reporter keeps track of details. "Investigate at once, and take the best photographer with you. Interview a Ms. S Smith, 555-1212, who phoned in the claim to the cops. Have copy ready by 1300." He reached for the phone, thinking he'd call Hank, the best of the shutterbugs.

One day a man was walking to work. He was unaware of what the day had in store for him. He was a young man in his early 20's when all of the sudden an old girlfriend appeared and they had a little chat. He knew he had to get to work and if not he would be fired so he bid her adew and also asked her to dinner that Friday she excepted and they exchanged phone numbers this is when the day would become even more interesting. When he arrived at work a strange note was on his desk and this is what it said.

But, as he went to pick up the phone, it rang. He answered, a bit irratated, but slightly happy when he heard what the woman said "this is Sue, i have a offer for you. I will give you 30 million dollars if you quit your job, dont investigate the big foot problem, and meet me at 31st st. in a half hour, i will be wearing a black hat, jeans and a pink t shirt with pink sparkling arm wormers." The woman hung up, and he sat at his wooded well used desk, thinking. considering his options and which one was best for him.

Lilliana remeinded him that BigFoot is just as mythylogical as Dragons and pleaded with Nick to help her investigate the sighting. "Why is he here" she whispered. "And at the duck pond"! "There is something strange at that pond Nick", "something is not right...those ducks look wierd too, gimpy somehow". Nick stared into his coffee cup as he wondered what step to take next. What had his life become, chasing fairy tales, BigFoot for pete's sakes. What next, giant hairy eels???

The man called the old girlfriend instead thinking of the chat he had with her earlier he couldn't wait for their dinner.The old girlfriend answered the phone and said."Did you get my note"?The man who's name is Nick said: "yes Lillianna,You know I don't care all that much about Big foot"."Now if it was a dragon that's another story,I'd slay it with my magical sword."Then he told her about the strange phone call and ask her what to do about it?
