That's easy. Hands down, it is overpopulation.
Think of it. All the problems are predicated by this one thing: polution, water shortages, food shortages, sky rocketing inflation (the real inflation, not the one reported by Congress and the liberal media), wars, famines, pestilence, everything is caused by people having too many babies!

Education.

There's far too much ignorance, naivety, or just plain apathy in this country. Even our curriculums enforce rote memorization as opposed to critical thinking skills.

People prefer told what to do. People don't question their leaders. People don't actually stop and think, "Hey, is that actually a good thing?".

Illegal immigration is because its at our doorsteps and we face a greater danger and expense from it than the war in Iraq which will eventually be resolved - one way or another. Illegal immigration won't be because Washington doesn't have the guts to solve it. Keep in mind - illegal immigration IS an immediately solvable problem.

Protecting the country from those who want to kill us.

Protecting the country from those who want to invade and put their flag on our soil.

Massive government debt.

The upcoming baby-boom retirement (and collapse of what social safety net we have)

I would like to see Bush veto any budget that doesn't reduce the national debt by at least 1% next year. (Think about it, you're in debt over your head, and you can't even reduce the amount you owe by 1 measely percent.)

hmm....good question. I know what we shouldn't be concerning ourselves with, terrorism. I think the government uses scare tactics to gain control of the Americans. It's been done throughout history...it's the oldest trick in the book!
