Of course not. Whoever said you were lazy is obviously not a parent, or have no consideration that taking care of two little kids can take a lot of time off your hands, and make you tired.

I don't think a mother could be lazy. A three year old and a two month old. Wow! They take a lot of energy and time.
I think you would be lazy if you paid someone else to care for them while you went to work at a much easier job!!! Yes, you would actually get paid if you worked for someone else, but imagine how much you should be paid for all of the work you are doing at home.
The work you are doing is worth soo much more than money. I in fact don't understand why people have children in the first place if they don't want to raise them themselves.
Nope! definitely NOT lazy! Try to feel good about what you are doing. Your children will be better for all of the work you do with and for them.

Only if you don't do it as you should. If you ignored them all day and sat on your but, then you would be lazy and neglectful. However, I think that it's a lot of work taking care of babies and kids, and a house, and making dinner, and shopping, and going to Dr. appt. and other errands. They did a study and found that if you payed people to do the work that a stay at home mom does you would have to pay 3 people and it would cost about $75,000.(I think, it may have been more) Anyway, stay at home moms are way undervalued. I say you are a strong and well grounded woman for doing what you do.

Kudos to you! I drive a school bus so I can be with my kids. It's really worth it!

LOL No! Of course not. Actually I saw on 2 different TV programs that researchers calculated how much a stay-at-home mom would make if she got paid for all of the work she does- $138,000 a year! You are not lazy. You are doing the most important job in the world!

Not at all! Being a mom is one of the most stressful and hardest jobs to have! Expecially if are home alone and have nobody else helping you.

Now if you sit there and let your kids in the other room alone and don't take care of them then yea your lazy lol

But think about it you have to cook for them clean them up entertain them..and hell yea they cry a lot and that is going to be very stressful.. Changing poopy diapers and keeping an eye on them is NOT being lazy..you can ask any stay at home mom!

Who told you that you were lazy?! Sounds like you have an inconsiderate spouse or friend in your life. I would be so angry! Taking care of 2 kids all day long is EXHAUSTING and can really affect you mentally, physically and emotionally. At that age, it is not about you. Kids need to be fed, changed, put to bed, entertained, and kept out of trouble. You can't just put them in a corner and watch TV. So many people (particularly men) have NO IDEA of what it is like. I used to think it was easy, but I kept my niece for a year and now don't think I want kids.

Just because you aren't driving to a job doesn't mean you aren't working. You need to know and believe in your self worth. Tell everyone else to SHOVE IT!

Of course not! You are working 'full time' with a toddler and a newborn. The choice to stay home or work should be up to every woman on an individual basis and we should not judge others for that choice either way. If anyone thinks you are lazy, I challenge them to stay home with your two kids for a day. Please do not let anyone make you feel like you should question your choice.

I would say that's the hardest job in the world, it's not a 8hr a day job, and walk away after the shift is over, It's a unpaid, hard working 24/7/52 job,

so no your not a lazy person.

Nope. You're a good parent, I think. I'd way rather raise my own kids than pay someone else to do it. Of course, that doesn't mean you aren't a lazy person, maybe you lie around all day watching t.v. and letting the dishes go moldy in the sink. But you're not lazy simply because you stay at home with your kids.

I assume that while you are home with your two children you are doing more than sitting on your butt watching soaps? If you are cleaning, cooking, playing, reading, interacting, and making sure they are safe and sound you are anything but lazy.

Being a stay at home mom is likely one of the hardest jobs there is. If someone is calling you lazy...I would recommend they switch you places for the day!

I certainly hope nobody has called you lazy for taking care of a 3 year old and a 2 month old.
That is a full time job there!!
