Not a smart or silly comment. Go and read The Scar by China Mieville... focus on the contained information about "The Brucolac"... then realise that in this world, much as in Bas-Lag and the ab-dead ghettos of High Cromlech, a vampire would be considered little more than an addict, a junkie scrounging for a fix...
Better to be Thanati or to remain among the Quick.

I have came accross Vampires in my time. Both mortal and immortal. mostly, 99.99999% were mortal vampires, kids into the gothic fad, etc. You have to drink an immortal vampire's blood to become an immortal vampire, then you spiritually die and are re-born as an undead.
The biggest trouble you have is finding an actual one, which they aren't hanging out at your local gothic coffee haus or goth club/bar.
As for where to find them, My encounter was a chance encounter in a library in Basque hamlet out in the country side in 1992.

Are you for real woman??!!?
I've been a vampire for the last 375 years and can you imagine the cost in anti-ageing cream?
To be serious for a moment....why would you consider becoming something of evil? Are you that disillusioned with your life that you feel this is a feasible option?
I feel quite sorry for you - you're obviously very unhappy with yourself. Maybe looking for something good and not focusing on the "dark" side of life will help you.

I respect your curiously, but I doubt that if there are any true vampires out there who don't dye their hair black and superglue fangs to their teeth, they will not answer you in this forum.
If you need some information in the background of vampirism for research purposes, I can help, but I myself have never met a "true" vampire that wasn't anything more than an energy leach or an Anne Rice obsessed goth with a blood drinking fetish.

There are a large number of people who are members of vampire communities. My daughter used to have a boyfriend who was into this and they take it very seriously and have their own code of conduct. They have fangs made to measure at dental labs and some of them do drink blood.

real vampires are people that need the vitamins out of blood. it is a real medical condition. it just became a myth because people in the days before modern medicine couldnt understand it. just like werewolves (another medical condition were hair grows all over your body) and zombies (people in comas who were put into coffins and then they woke up).

Vampires exist in the form of leech type of characters who will extract everything that they can from a person on a emotional of supportive level. I have met a few people like this, they make you feel like they have drained you of anything you had to give.

From what I've heard, vampires seek people who display a degree of sophistication and intelligence. If I were you I'd stop using textspeak and really work on your grammar if you want to be considered worthy to join the ranks of the living dead.

How can you have a true answer, people class themselves as Vampires because they drink blood, big deal, do they still believe that it will make them live longer, because that's how it all started
