Because everything you're reading is probably made up of alot of crap! Like McDonalds food. Sorry if that sounded like I just snapped. I was just joking. I understand what you mean.....especially with the packaging. Instead of telling us everything, they could just say that it's recycled or if it is made of anything allergy inducing.

I like to know what the packages are made out of. Whenever possible, I buy recycled materials, I never buy egg cartons out of styrofoam.
I read the label of everything I eat. I want to know what I'm putting in my body and I want to know I am not part of the problem of pollution and the masses of landfills we Americans keep dumping in.

Because of various laws put in place. Like now another one that is being put in place to have the company state if their products have gluten in them or not because of the concern for those that have a disease called Celiac which causes people to get very sick if they eat things that have gluten (a product that can be found in things such as flour).
