Are the socialists prepared for the cost?

of a civil war? I mean really all they are is talk, no action. Do you think they have ever considered the possibility that many Americans will say enough, let the revolution begin?

Nah, I don't think they are smart enough to realize the danger they have put the country in, much less themselves.

There's a vague idea amongst the socialists in my party (democrat) that if they undermine the elected representatives of our country (democrat or republican) sufficiently, the workers will rise up and desire a socialist state. Some of the messages necessary for this to work are:

1) All politicians are corrupt (compared to the general populace, percentage-wise, they're saints);
2) Your vote doesn't count (that's why politicians spend millions trying to get it);
3) It's all a big conspiracy (doesn't matter what type, just as long as you seperate "you" and "government". Thank you, I'm 'part' of that 'conspiracy' and proud of it);
4) It's better somewhere else (fill in name of socialist country, here. Compare the immigration numbers of that country to the U.S.A. No better measure.
5) We owe the poor/workers/etc. (no, we don't. There is no previous agreement, no deal, nothing. They choose to work, they choose where to work, they can choose to work elsewhere. The only people that have trouble doing that are people with bad records and few job skills.

That is their army, the people who don't want to work, don't want to try, and who think they are owed. The more people they get to think that way, and to distrust the government, the more successful they'll be.

What's really funny is that the same people will be in worse situations in a socialist America. Silly.

Jefferson wrote the form and he became an idealist and a psychological. He even supported the French of their revolution which went from a Constitutional Monarchy to a Liberal Democracy after the king became beheaded and then became a laissez faire Republic till it ultimately ended up as a Totalitarian Regime. As France went via those countless tiers interior the the direction of a decade many strikes could emerge and one such flow became the Communards. So finding at historic previous you will locate how liberals have reliable attachments with Jefferson's ideals. What has got here approximately now's that present day Conservatives have taken up the banner of Libertarianism and Constitutionalism which ahead of the French Revolution became the forex of Socialists and Anarchists who adversarial Slavery, Ancien regime, racism, sexism and despotism.

I don't know about a civil war, they still haven't seemed to learn that Socialism doesn't work. Karl Marx wrote a book called Animal Farm, never mind that it is supposedly about Communism, both governments are the same ideal, and neither of them worked out. They starved to death. China is on it's way, and North Korea, is near dead.
If Socialists won't fight for bread, in a 2 mile line, why would they fight for their government? They'll sit down like cowards, and wait to see what happens, then follow the leader!
About paying.....they pay a WHOLE lot more in gas prices than we do, so they must be ready for some cost.
I am tired of people being so lazy. When the war gets in their faces, maybe they will see? I can't see it. Liberals today, so against Bush, and Conservatism, seem to want to go the way of Socialism. Remember Hillary, her United Health-Care program idea, and national ID cards? Those weren't Bill's ideas. Those were, and are hers. She truly scares me!

Our enemy is within, if the socialists get control of The White House we will lose some of our freedoms.

Socialist means:

The socialists believe that they are better at controlling our money.
The socialist have condoned what is wrong and condemn what is right.
It is not bad enough that they have twisted and manipulated our Constitution, they want to completely change it.
They want us to be more like other Countries, than the Independent Country we are.

They are not Democrats. Real Democrats would fight for freedom and protect our Constitution.

Civil war over what exactly. And why is it the fault of the 'socialists' if you and your buddies have 'had enough' and revolt. That's your reaction to others who by your own estimation just talk. Then if they just talk and are no action, what makes them a threat, except in your own mind.

OK, now help me out here yank... by socialists you mean democrats, environmentalists, doctors, teachers, anyone with a post grad education and anyone not in a militia or survivalist paramilitary group or Georges southern baptist sheet wearing burning cross brigade?

If that's the case a war seems impossible.. so i guess what you mean is that you will be a part of the ethnic cleansing squads that go out to murder anyone not of your "kind", women and children included. As to "many americans will say enough"...your so right! at the next election a great many will not only say "enough" but will put little x marks next to the democratic candidate box on those ballot papers.

I'm neither a socialist nor am I or anyone else concerned about your ilk. People (and I use the term loosely) like you are great at flapping the gums but always lack the backbone for action. The few that have been stupid enough to try something are the laughing stock of the world as they are surrounded and put under seize by the FBI,

Do you even know what you are writing about? What is socialism to you?

You write as if we were being invaded. America is the least socialist country compared with all of the other Western Nations. Even Americas "Liberals" are considered "right-wing" in Europe. You have nothing to fear.

In fact the question to ask is "are Americans prepared to pay the costs of Ragonomics"? We are in debt again; our national debt, our trade deficit, and our personal debts are at an all time high. What is with that?

And why do all you extremist "right-wingers" have names and avatars that are threatening looking? You have the Grimreaper, I have also seen "Venom", "M-16", and "Angry-guy". Why don't you all cheer up and stop hiding behind fear, anger, and threats?

The civil war has been going on since the 1920s, since the senseless republican assault on human rights and liberties. So the socialists are well aware of sacrifice. I agree that they have put the country in terrible danger and much more so themselves by appeasing to money-grabbers.
