Pubic Hair?

Question

I have hair down south, and when i wear a swimming suit, you can see it. IT IS SO GROSS! I don't want to ask my mom for a wax (I'm too young). And I don't want her to know about it. So, please help. Thank you!

shave? lol it might hurt if you dont do it right and the hair will grow fast. have her drop you off at a professional who does things like waxing

I don't understand why so many people are telling her not to shave. If it was bad for you then that doesn't mean it'll affect her the same way.

Since you don't want to wax, the next two choices are shaving and trimming. To avoid bumps and discomfort shave towards the grain (which is the direction that your hair grows) and use a moisturizing shaving cream. You can shave it all, leave a little, or just shave the bikini line, your choice. If you trim just trim short.

You never know how shaving is going to affect you till you try really. If you are still concerned about this then it might be best to just get a different part of bathing suit bottoms, try shorts or something that covers the bikini line.

It’s not necessary to inform your mother but it is nice to ask her for help, she should be willing to help you. And it’ll form a stronger bond since you can trust her for advice.

If you have like an electric trimmer you could just shave it down really short, like a haircut. You never even have to touch your skin. Just get rid of the excess length. If no trimmer, use scissors. This should help some. If you still need to get rid of more along the edge of the hairline, use a good razor and shave in the direction the hair grows, not against. Shaving against it can cause razor burn. It doesn't feel good and it itches as it heals. Not a good place to have to scratch. Hope this helps!

You can try trimming the hairs with a pair of scissors but as for your mom she's been thru this before and will understand your concern if you should decide to talk to her at a later date.

And when you do just let her know that you want to talk to her in private about something that concerns you.

this is probably the first of a number of issues you are having and will have about becoming a woman. i strongly suggest you involve your mother (or other trusted adult female if you truly can't talk to your mother) in your situation. This one is innocuous enough but there will be other, more complicated issues down the road having to do with becoming a woman for which you will want--and benefit from--adult consultation.

I'm assuming you can see it on your legs up there, like your bikini line? Just shave it. If your actually talking about ALL your pubic hair, then trim it up with some scissors and shave it.

OMG used to be in the same situation. It sux. Don't shave, besides coming back thicker, it might irratate you ie. rash EWWW. Maybe wear board shorts till ur older then go get waxed.

SHAVE IT...thats what i do every once in a while! the first time it might hurt so i reccomend cutting it with a scissors if its really long. once you get it short (like less than an inch) then shave it and it wont hurt. then u can just shave it before it gets too long.
