YES, when you take a leak you are supposed to pull it as far back as to have your entire head exposed. This is so that the piss gets out and not linger between the foreskin and your dick. That causes a funky smell to develop. Also, when you take a shower, pull it back all the way and clean all the shaft, this will prevent smegma to form. If you let smegma to form, in three days your dick will get irritated and it will hurt a lot. If you can't take a shower (your camping and there are no showers, etc.), find a way to get it clean. You could use a wet paper towel to wipe it off, get in the lake or river pull your dick out and pull the foreskin and rub it (without masturbating). Just make sure you clean it to avoid the pain.

If you can pull your foreskin back then you should when taking a shower/bath. Doing this will allow you to clean underneathe the foreskin and minimize/eliminate most problems associated with the foreskin. Once it's pulled back, just wash like any other part of your body; no big deal there.

Pulling it back while you pee is more of a personal preference. A lot of uncircumcised guys pull their foreskins back while peeing because it prevents/reduces urine from remaining under the foreskin, which could cause a bad smell several hours later. Basically, it keeps the area a little more hygienic for longer.

Im circumsized so really the only time that happend was my great aunt told me to make sure I cleand under the skin....I was so confused for soooo long...yeah....anyways.
