No, I don't miss Christmas at all. I miss all those things that you mentioned (except maybe the Christmas songs, which get played to the point of making you crazy!), but they can be done any time of year that people make the effort. I used to celebrate Christmas, but converted to Judaism about 10 years ago, and the crowds, money for presents nobody actually needs, and the rushing around are things I don't miss in the least.

I think that if you miss those things you mentioned, maybe you should consider planning a family gathering - perhaps a reunion or something similar? Admittedly, you won't have much snow this time of year (at least not in most places!), but you can have all the rest any time you want to :-)

Of course I do. It's my favorite time of the year and there's just something magical about it that makes the entire festive season go by entirely too fast.

But the season is right around the corner, it's only 3 more months before the Sears Wishbook catalogue comes out and some stores start to carrying seasonal stuff.

Its funny cause Christmas only comes once a year and then its gone so you have to make the best of it while its here,Yes its one of the best holidays but nothing lasts forever.Maybe take lots of pictures for memories or video.

I LOVE christmas...because of the whole atmosphere...i love the thought of the world being happy for once...I love the feeling of family and togetherness...I know its alot more about Jesus and celebrating His life...but I like what else the holiday brings with it!!!

Have a summer party and invite them all over ! Christmas is too commercialized and stressful on everyone. Now you can enjoy each others company and take it easy,.. you can all sing together "summertime, and the living is easy !"

Yes...my favorite Holiday, too...and every year I try to start decorating early to make it last as long as possible.

I genuinely love too giving gifts to others....shopping for them, the whole thing.

It is also one of the most important days because of Jesus coming. Imagine God sending His Son to earth, just for us!
