(4, 9) is a solution because 13 - 9 = 4, 4 + 9 = 13
(7, 6) b/c 13 - 7 = 6 and to check 6 + 7 = 13

the first one would be 4 and the second one would be 6
easy because
4+9=13 and 7+6=13. You just plug in the numbers.
In the ordered pair, the first number is always x and the second number is always y. So to solve the first, plus in the 9 to the 9 so it would look like this
x+9=13
Then, you'd subtract nine from both sides, which would give you x=4.
Same for the second
7+y=13
Subtract 7
y=6
Good luck.

substitute the number you are given for a variable.
x+9=13.
subtract nine from both sides to get x by itself.
x=4
try the same for the second one. good luck!

well the first 1 would be
(?,9)= (4,9)
and the next would be
(7,?)=(7,6)
its easy...(X,Y)...so X+Y=13...so its telling you this...9+?=13 and ?+7=13...
so the first answer would be x=4
and the next would be y=6

(?,9)= it's (4,9) because 9 is equal to Y and X is equal to "?"
you have to subtract 9 from 13
(7,?) = it's (7,6)

(4,9) and (7,6)
The parentheses are (x,y) and you must fill in the x or the y to get the answer.
