How do you think the raiders are going to be this year?

If the Raiders rise to 6-10 it will be a monumental season. Andrew Walter will most likely start until he plays himself out of a job... I say about five weeks. JaMarcus Russell with be thrown into the fire and he will learn by making mistakes. The Raiders have used a lot of high draft picks on the offensive line in the previous years and Robert Gallery and Jake Grove have yet to earn their selection... Former Niner Jeremy Newberry is one chop block from retirement. So the running backs will have no where to run and the QB will be picking himself up off of the turf every other play. The defense will keep Oakland in most of their games for three quarters or so... Having to play Denver, San Diego, and Kansas City twice a year is tough to overcome... I would be surprised if Oakland wins more than 5 games this year... Randy Moss will not be missed but I don't see the Raiders as having any one receiver that is going to demand a double team... And I am a big fan of the Silver and Black.

JaMarcus Russell should be good but in the rare case that he begins to struggle, Josh McCown is there to help the team. There defense well be good if not better with the addition of Quentin Mosses. I think they well finish the season 9-7 if everyone stays healthy and if Mike Williams performs like he did at USC than the Raiders well go 10-6.

I think that the raiders could be better than last year but it is all going to ride on how there offensive line performs. There defense is really good so they will win games if they can actually score some points.

I think with Jamarcus Russel they will imrpove. But they will miss the play-offs, Im thinking they will go 8-8. They still need some work on that 0-line, also they lost moss and porter.

dont expect too much but this should be a season for experience for jamarcus russel and to see how the o-line works with a new qb, if they dont block jamarcus russel turns into david carr.

Pretty good. Top 5 defense. Improved offensive line through free agency. They will give the AFC West a lot of trouble.

They will stink up the stadium again but maybe not as bad as last year! But who really cares?
