It isn't better for games, that is just a myth that is constantly repeated by the AMD fans. The new Core 2 Duos are faster, and by that I mean faster no matter what you are doing. The AMD fans just can't deal with this development, so they come up with different reasons to still recommend AMD, the gaming myth that you already know about, then there is the whole "they are more reliable" which is not really true, some say they don't heat up as much, which also is not true, and some people just go into complete denial and say they are still faster, even though every benchmark out there says otherwise. Hope this cleared things up.

Only recently has Intel surpassed AMDin their quest for the fastest, bestest CPU.
AMDs architecture and chip design was way more efficient than Intel, so even though Intel had higher CPU clock speeds the AMDs could process information much quicker because of the design.
Wait until AMDs Quad-core is available, they will take back the crown for gaming king!
