Ordinarily, you'd use a rubbing compound, applying and removing with an electric buffer, followed by waxing.

I would recommend that you locate the very worst areas on the car and try this out, even if you don't have an electric buffer. You can use a small 6" adapter with a buffing tool that's hooked up to an electric drill. Put the compound on by whirling it into the paint, allow to dry and then buff off. If there's still lots of blemish left behind, stop right there and get the car repainted. If the result is satisfactory, then proceed to enlarge the area.

There's no point in doing this if it only shines well in some places, it's an all or nothing thing. So don't get too tired out trying to do it all at once, just portions of it. But be sure you get a decent result before going further.

You may have to first wash the vehicle, then use some mild polishing compound and a buffer. Then follow by washing it again in order to remove any residue. Dry thoroughly, then use Maguire's Wet Look wax and it'll be gooder than new (sic)! Good luck!

Stop by your local auto parts store and buy a bottle of hand glauze to clean the finish. After the finish is clean use a pure carnauba wax to get the shine and protection you need.

It's yellow. You're gonna see EVERY little thing. Wash it and try Maguires wax, that is what the dealer uses on them.
