Does anyone have any really stupid phobias? I'm not talking about understandable ones like spiders / heights etc. but totally irrational ones like my fear of light bulbs!
Points will be given for naming your phobia!

I have an absolute phobia of balloons. I can't even watch them on television or see them in a picture. There hasven't been balloons in my house since I was 13 and my sister and brother moved out.

As for naming it, I've never yet been able to find anything closer than spheraphobia but to me, that would be the phobia of round objects.

Funnily enough, it's selective. I'm fine with beach balls even foil balloons don't produce the same effect that 'balloon' balloons do but other objects do ... in my very brief dalliance with the intimate 'arts', condoms were not allowed and although I occasionally wear vinyl gloves at work, a colleague once blew one up and started batting it around. I froze.

I have a phobia of feet. It's called Podophobia.
I'm 14 and my mother has to put my socks and shoes on in the mornings because I can't even stand my own feet, and when she touches them I heave.
In P.E lessons the whole class has to wear shoes, because I can't be around bare feet.
I don't know what it is about them, I just hate them. If people have shoes on then I am fine with it. But if I have shoes on and someone touches my feet then I feel sick.
I can't go swimming because there are too many feet. When me and my boyfriend are laying down I have to make him keep his feet off of me, because they gross me out.

When feet come near me I start to hyperventalate and I heave and I squirm.
However, I don't mind my best friends feet.

And my best friend has monophobia, which is the fear of being alone. She cannot go ANYWHERE alone, I even have to go to the toilet with her and stand right outside her cubical with my feet under the door and talk to her.

I have a phobia of un-even numbers.

Whenever I have anything to do with numbers the number always has to be even, or land on an even number.

for example if i'm at the gas station pumping gas, the dollar amount I pump has to be even.

Well I'm deathly afraid of centipedes. Oh gosh they freak me out. I love insects, but I just can't stand centipedes.

But a wierd phobia? I am completly afraid of the edges of paper-more specifically-papercuts. OOoo it just makes me cringe.

Oo and of being numb. Whenever something on me goes numb and I touch it but can't feel it, it just creeps me out.
