If you're still learning English there are some books that are written at an elementary reading level, but have more mature themes. Holes, by Louis Sachar
The Landry News, by Andrew Clements
The Janitor's Boy, by Andrew Clements
Both these authors write very good books that are easy reads.

If you're between 12 and 18 and like video games and best friends stories I think you might like my novel GAMEPLAYER: The Genesis Portal (309 pages). It's available at the normal online sites like amazon, B&N, Borders, etc. and as an ebook on mobipocket.com.
You can check it out further and read the prologue on my site www.myspace.com/gameplayerbook.
Just a suggestion,
Gary Anderson
