I know this may seem heartless but if the money is not used what will happen to it

I did not donate for the fund I am glad to see it may go somewhere usefull

I don't think it's heartless, fair comment. If, please God, she is found, then they won't need it anymore. I would like to think they would give it to a charity for those families who aren't as fortunate.

I very much doubt they will refund a dime.... the McCanns have a £600k morgage to pay off.. !
They set up a limited company precisely because they were unable to obtain charitable status as the fund would not have "benefited the greater good". Aside from perhaps the tax man they do not have to account for how those funds are subsequently spent and spend it they most certainly will be doing....
Do not expect one penny back as you'd have a greater chance of winning the lottery than that happening... I also doubt whether the donations they decide to give to other charities from that fund will be at all substantial....

There are so many comparisons to the disappearance of this poor child to that of Jon Benet Ramsey.
Both beautiful children of wealthy parents. Both children received an amazing amount of press when yet thousands of other children disappear each year. And notice, they are blondes, very BEAUTIFUL blondes of excellent genetic stock.
Jon Benet was murdered. This child was being trained to be the presidential model sex slave, similar to what was done to Marilyn, ZsaZsa and Anna Nichole. They were all victims of the MK Ultra trauma based mind programming. I have a feeling one of her training sessions went bad and resulted in her death. The shady doctor who did the coronary report on little Jon Bennet is the same one who did those of Anna Nichole and Danielle. Something fishy there? Anna Nichole was one such slave also.
What never hit the news was the 35+ times that LITTLE Jon Benet was taken to the doctor's for YEAST infections that are the result of sex. What never hit the news was how badly stretched and torn her little privates were. What never hit the news is her brother was injured in ritual abuse and this is why he was injured so badly.
I am going to say right now that I think with or without her parents' inept parenting, the child Maddy was kidnapped.
Jeff Gannon is actually a boy kidnapped at a very young age known as Johnny Gosch. Suddenly he turns up as a sex slave in the White House. He is not the only one. There are photos of him hugging and kissing Bush. Something stinks in Babylon.
I think there is sooo much more to this story than will come out for decades! I do not think this child is dead, but I do think it might be better if she were. The things done to traumatize these children is beyond obscene. Ritual abuse is not pleasant at all. Look up SVALI or Kathy O'Brien on line to read about it.

First of it isn't a charity, it is a ltd company so they do not have to account for any of the funds at all, unlike charitable organisations so those of you that have donated might never know how or if your money has helped.
According to their website, they will use any money left over to assist other families of missing children but as I said above, they aren't obliged to do any of this.

no i think if people were willing to donate the money as easy as they did then let it go to a good charity of there choice that way they still have a say on what happens to their donations ' these people who did give deserve a big thankyou for their generosity but the best gift of all would be for maddie to be returned safe and well

Barbara has gone off on a soapbox re something NOT connected to Maddie. You have a warped mind woman. Maddie could still be alive and you waffle on about a state cover up!!! get a life - get a grip and put your energies into finding a youngster in the present - not the past.

If Maddy is found, then the McCann family said they will donate it to help find other missing children. I doubt it.
