GOOD QUESTION HINDSIGHT, AND TO EXPAND ON THE HUMIDITY ANSWER,.....aside from "sweating", even when we are idle and not doing anything, our bodys "respire" which is, we slowly evaporate water, even though we don't outright sweat. When the air is saturated with water, [high humidity] its harder to get rid of water....... hence, this process of our bodys keeping themselves cool becomes more difficult. A 90 DEGREE DAY WITH 25% HUMIDITY IS MORE TOLERABLE THE SAME TEMP WITH 70% HUMIDITY. Our bodys cooling system goes into overdrive at that point, and we REALLY sweat. That is why they say drink lots of fluids on a hot and humid day. I hope this helped answered your question! stay cool.

It's the humidity.
I dunno about you, but I live in a tropical climate and although the temperatures don't get super hot it's humid most times.
It'll be 73 degrees in the morning and I'll be sweating, because it's 100% humidity.
