How much does your car get after that gas light comes on until it runs out and stalls, assuming you slow down and turn off the ac/roll up windows. And its all highway driving.

well it depends on the kind of car you get. on my Hyundai i get about 30 miles till i completely out of gas. but with bigger cars it is much less

That depends on your car, size of gas tank etc. Drive around your city, where you have access to a gas station when you run out. I would not try this on the highway. I get 60+ miles on my car.

First, you should never allow your car to run that low on fuel, it's bad for the engine. Second, cars manufacturers vary on the amount of miles they allow, after the light comes on. Some it's ten, some thirty, but why test it, just gas up when needed.

It would vary depending on many factors. If you just remember to stop and get fuel when it reaches a quarter of a tank, you will never have to worry about it.

I don't let my tank get that low. It's hard on the fuel pump.
