you need a faster video card, cpu, more memory or all three. Just becase the box spins fast in dxdiag doesn't mean your games will run fast too. It just mean directX is loaded and it is working with your hardware. You can download a program that will provide benchmarks for your hardware and see which piece of hardware you need to replace to get the speed you want.

DxDiag meansDirectX Diagnostics is a diagnostics tool used to test DirectX functionality and troubleshoot video or sound-related hardware problems. Yah, you can check it out using run on your computer. You will see the status and details of your video card and sound card.

Give us your specs, dude... Dxdiag won't necessarily tell you how fast your pc or gpu is.

Your games may be running slowly because you might have one or two of these:
1. Low RAM
2. Low Processor speed
3. Integrated Graphics Card or a GPU speed that can't keep up with those games

did it say your 3D graphics accelerator was enabled?
check it again.. the thing about games is use of memory, and how it uses it,,,
