does the compressor kicks in when its turned on?if not,,can b a bad wire,,fuse or compressor...
check the release vavle,,on the freon line 2 c if there is any freon in, use a dull punch to press the vavle..
If it has air coming out,,,but no white mist,,,it needs freon,,,have it vacumed,,this will tell if there is a leak before u add freon...doing this first will be better cause u wouldnt want to waste the money and freon,,by it escaping out of a hole in the system.
