BILLS SUCK

2007-05-26 15:16:15 · answer #1 · answered by cbush27 1 · 0 3

Lee Evans hardly has anything to prove. People who claim our offensive line is weak simply haven't been paying attention, which invalidates any argument they may make because their viewpoint is at least a year old. Those who still bash Losman have also missed the past year or so. Buffalo's offense did finish in the bottom of the league...but they were in the top 15 over the course of the last 8 games. Losman doesn't need to start showing his stuff, he merely has to continue to do so.

As for McGahee...he is vastly overrated. He has career YPC average of 3.8 and averages about 1,200 yards per season. People claim he's an excellent back but even an excellent one would put up better numbers even behind a poor offensive line(which it was, in terms of run-blocking, until last year). He is also impotent as a receiving threat...indeed, he is also impotent as a pass-blocker and is a liability in the passing game. Really, he only ever has a big impact on weak teams and the Jets. Lynch is certainly a better receiver...hell, so are Dwayne Wright and A-Train. A-Train is a good change-of-pace back and Dwayne Wright's strength and power will certainly find him a place.

As for our defensive losses....Fletcher and TKO would've hurt...about two years ago. Clements will hurt but can be managed by a better pass rush. It should be pointed out our defense was ranked 10th in the league in terms of points-allowed, IMO, a stat that is far more important than the yardage we gave up. Our pass defense is excellent even aside from Clements, and his loss isn't going to affect our pass rush or safeties over the top. They aren't suddenly going to play terribly because Clements isn't there. It may take some time, but Poz will be a better 'backer than Fletch. In Ellison's case....he was already outplaying TKO last year. McCargo is expected to be ready for TC(in fact, his foot is fully-healed, they're just making him take it slow) and he did show signs of being disruptive last year.

That leaves special teams, which have been excellent for a long-term, and they have no reason to be worse. The Bills will win any punter's duel, of that I am certain....

they are def gonna suprise some people next year.
McGahee=crappy
Lynch= future superstar
they've made all the right choices and with the pick up of webster the cb postion is now pretty deep
Even though the Bills have the hardest schedule next year, they will still come out with at least a 10-6 season. They lost to the super bowl champs by 2 to san diego by 3 and to the pats by 1.. the bills are goin places man
no one... and i mean no one cicles the wagon like the buffalo bills

Its possible, if JP Losman comes on, he has a lot of potential, he just needs to put it all out there.

I think that the pickup of Marshawn Lynch will really help, and A-Train is no slouch

their defense is good, however, they only thing that bothers me is a slight lack of talent at the WR position. If Lee Evans can take on the responsibilty of a full time #1 WR, they have a real shot in a very tough AFC

Definitely
Losman looked solid at the end of last season...and seems to be on fire in OTA's...Everett finally seems ready to do something...Lynch is the next Marshall Faulk (who happened to be the next Thurman Thomas)...Evans could use a bit more help at WR but the O-line improvements may offset that...give JP time to get the ball farther downfield to Peerless.
On defense, I'll admit I'm a bit concerned...DE is solid but not spectacular...DT is still a question mark if we don't get Walker into camp...and McCargo isn't ready to go...LB trio of Crowell, Poz, and Ellison is solid...our duo at S will be a strength in the secondary...still curious as to who gets the vacant CB slot opposite T-Mac

I liked the way the Bills came along last season, but they lost a lot in the offseason -- Clements, Fletcher, Spikes, McGahee. That's a lot of talent out the door, and a lot of pressure on the rookies.

Jauron and Levy know what they are doing, I would expect they'll take a small step sideways in 2007, which will keep them out of the playoffs again. One more good draft might do it, though.

They wouldn't make the playoffs in the NFC, let alone in the strong AFC. They would have to beat out the Pats, Colts, Chargers, Ravens, Steelers, Bengals, Jets or Broncos. I don't think so. Not with all the losses they suffered in the offseason. Sorry guy, another 5-6 win season is in the making.

Uh...no.
Where is there room for the Bills? The Pats are stronger, as are the Chargers, Colts, Steelers, Bengals and heck even the Titans. Plus, the qb position still isn't settled.
Good luck with that.

Yes. They got help at the offensive line. The thing that I am worried about is the secondary. how well will ashton youboty play and jabari greer. terrence mcgee will do great and so will jason webster. paul poslusny and marshawn lynch will do great. Hopefull darwin walker will stay.
LETS GO BUFFALO

Can't see it man. They were OK last year but have downgraded their roster. Anthony Thomas replacing McGahee? Downgrade. Whoever is at linebacker replacing Spikes and Fletcher? Downgrade. Lee Evans is the only stud on the roster and he can't pass it to himself.

well i would say yes if the afc wasn't so strong. just look at all the other strong teams you have (colts, ravens, broncos, chargers, jets, and pats) i just don't think there will be enough room.
