depends on where you live and what the weather is like. it is still hot where i live in September. i would by some one those baby dresses. i don't know what they are called, but they are one piece and have the elastic at the bottom. they are so much easier for little babies. that and they are usually one size fits all so you don't have to worry if your baby is bigger or smaller.

for late September you should try and get some long sleeve body suites and knit caps. you should try and go to either the baby gap because they now have a line that is called newborn favorites and they have the essentials, like knit caps, long sleeve tops, long pants, body suites, full body suites etc. if that's too expensive try and go to a baby gap outlet, their prices are unbelievable!! they always have a discount and they last a long time. GOOD LUCK!! and CONGRATULATIONS

that is the same question i've been asking myself.... im just buying alot of 0-3 months onsies and a few cute summer chlothes for outtings and family visits....im also buying a few long sleeves and leg outfits just in case. then im buying more winter like clothes in sizes 3-6 and 6-9. you will probably be keeping baby at home most of the time for a couple months anyways so im just buying more onsies just for home. just take it as the weather comes at ya.... good luck
