in my area ellen and maury comes on at the same time. i look at ellen and my husband prefers maury. he says homosexuals shouldn't be allowed in the public eye, that they set bad examples for our young people. i say that people that don't know their children's parents set an even worse example. women that has to have 6-7 men tested by dna and none of them is the father shouldn't be in the public eye. his defense- at least their of opposite sexes. i say that ellen isn't promoting her sexual preference, that all she does is entertain.

I like Ellen. ROSIE was the one who promoted her sexual preference on national TV (The View), not Ellen on her show, and you can tell that to your husband! Ellen is far to classy to go "my gay family" this or "gays have rights" that. Ellen is like Jay/Conan/Dave in the daytime, interviewing celebs and fun games with the audience, stuff like that. Oh, and I like her dancing.
"Maury," on the other hand is basically shows about lie detecors and cheating and who's the father of my baby. I will only watch it if they do shows on amazing hidden videos, or "Can you guess which are men and which are women?" or if I don't think Dr. Phil (which comes on the same time as Maury on my TV) will be all that riveting that day.

I'll take Ellen any day of the week. At least you don't have to worry about your kids walking in hearing some of the stuff that they talk about on Maury. His shows are so repetitive anyway. How many times can you watch some woman bring on 9 guys and still not find the father of her baby.

Ellen of course, i don't care what her sexual preference is i just think she's funny and i love to watch her dance her way on stage so cute. Maury is so old news, just a repeat of the same old thing, very boring!!

Ellen, You get a good show, not a bunch of that trashy American crap. Good lord who really cares, those people need a life. I like Ellen, you get some good news and interesting conversation and a laugh once in awhile. I suggest you tell your husband to go watch another t.v.

I dont know how you can even compare the two. Ellen is talented and funny and although goofy .informative. Maury is Jerry Springer dipped in icing with sprinkles......once you chew all that off its the same crap underneath.

I have to say Ellen. If I'm with a minor or some of my nieces and nephews, I don't have to worry about them listening to those words. Also, Maury is like Jerry Springer. people being dumb and disgracing themselves on National TV

I like Maury, especially the paternity shows, they are sooo funny. I can't believe some of these women who go on there and swear up and down that some dude is their baby's father and they really aren't. Such comedy!

I prefer Ellen personally, she's a hoot to watch...Maury has gotten way too much like Springer for my tastes

i like Ellen, she makes me laugh and her show is really god. Maury is ok,but all he has "Who Your Baby's Daddy? I do watch it sometimes.

ellen of course.. her show always cracks me up! and her show is a creative show.. like the one she did on the plane! she always brings out the best.. yep i dont give a damn about her sexual life.. thats her problem.. but the important thing is that her show is brilliant! =)
