My husband of 5 years has been spending more and more time with his friends lately. He's even begun chatting with a woman online. I've read some of their e-mails, and it's nothing inappropriate (he mentions me quite a bit), but I'm starting to feel that our family isn't in his #1 spot anymore. Am I being too sensitive about this? Or should I back off a bit and let him do his thing?

No, you're not being too sensitive.
I might suggest that you take him
to a restaurant and have a nice talk
with him and let him know just what
your fears are. He may not even
realize he's doing this.
Why a restaurant ? It's public and
very few people will ever make a scene
in angry in a public place with their
spouse .
Good Luck.
PS : I honestly don't think that , from your
statement and question, you've 'spied'
on him or are trying to 'control' him.........
the family should always come first in
any relationship.

Honey. I understand. Once the head goes he heart is soon to follow ! You and he became one flesh the day you married ! So your emotional and physical well being should be his top prioriy ! Too sensitive, no ! If more people were like you and I there would be no divorce ! I will pray on this."Jesus loves you" !

That depends entirely on how much time he's now spending with friends (which you didn't say). If you feel it's too much, talk to him about cutting it back some. But don't ask him to cut it out entirely (we all need friends...even married people).

Well, you spy on him and are jealous of his friendships with everyone else besides you he cares about.

Seek help.

What you're doing (trying to keep him to yourself, and spying on him) are wrong.

Your jealousy are driving him away.

He has the right to have friends.

Your trying to prevent that makes him seek them out more.

You need to deal with your jealousy problem before you drive him away completely.

Trouble is in the air. You better get a hold on this now or you will be very sorry later.

Talk to him and let him know how you feel. If he cares about his family, he will listen and do what is necessary.

The more you give the more he'll get!

Tell him your feelings now or they'll be hurt later.

As the story goes "Give a mouse a cookie......" we all know how that goes!
