Why are my high beams always on?

When ever I turn on my car's lights, they automatically go to brights, and I can't take it off.

Maybe the headlight relay is shorted, or the switch is bad. Maybe a bad headlight module, under the dash.

Sticking relay or bad dimmer switch, most likely.

Faulty switch on the steering column?
Faulty relay under the hood?
