Sulfur hexafluoride, a gas much heavier than air, is sometimes used as an electrical insulator for high-voltage circuitry. I once leaned over an open basin containing sulfur hexafluoride gas, not knowing that I had accidentally been breathing it - until I responded to a question one of the other engineers asked. I knew immediately what had happened when my voice came out sounding as if it were on a recording slowed to less than half speed. After backing off and taking a few deep breaths, my voice was back to normal.
Although we checked the level of SF6 by lowering a lit butane cigarette lighter into the tank until only the top half of the flame showed, it is possible to mix oxygen with the sulfur hexafluoride and make it safe to breathe. (Not that I recommend doing so!) And you can also asphyxiate yourself with helium if you don't mix oxygen with it.

RE:
How do you inhale helium to make your voice go really deep? You know, like they do in the movies.?
Where can I buy a helium tank?

Untie a helium balloon and inhale its contents. But this makes your voice really high-pitched--not deep like you said.
Also, I've heard that doing this too often can harm your brain so I would advise against it.

Inhaling helium makes your voice higher, not deeper, because helium is lighter than air.
There are gasses that are denser than air, so that inhaling them will make your voice deeper, but they will also cause you to suffocate because, being heavier than the oxygen you need to breathe, they will settle in your lungs.

No helium makes your voice really high. Laughing gas makes your voice low. Both are bad in large quantities.

Just inhale it from a helium filled baloon.

It makes your voice high, not deep. And it will kill you.
