The computer that is wired is on the second floor - and the computer that I want to be wireless is on the first floor, so I would not need anything that is too powerful. Please Help !?!?!

I prefer D-Links myself. They are alot easier to setup if you dont have any experience with wireless networking then the other brands.

If you want the top of the line models get the 802.11n models. If you are on a budget then get the 802.11g models.

Does the computer on the first floor has a wireless card if not you should get one, there are a lot of offers that includes the wireless card go to this link and see if you like one of this products.

A linksys wireless router system is the best. I use one and have had no problems with reception or range. My wireless router is also on my second floor. You can buy one from Walmart or on line.

D-Link works pretty good for me. Mine has a range of 125 feet, but there are ones that have less range. For mine, you have to have a G adapter.
