If I were "god", I'd imagine folks wouldn't like me so much.
--With regards to money...I'd just have to do something to level out the playing field. I'm sorry. We just have way too many poor people on the planet for others to loll around being *famous* just for being rich (Paris Hilton anyone?) and popular. Really, who the *hell* needs to be a *billionaire*? That's being a millionaire a *thousand* times over. For every billionaire we have we could make a *thousand* people richer. At least.
--With regards to people....I'd just have to do something with evolution, just to level out the playing field. I'm sorry.
We just have way too many good people who work hard, bust their humps, and just go through these awful, miserable lives where they lose everything.....we have too many of those folks for politicians, lawyers, evangelists, and *other* thug criminals to loll around living the *good life* courtesy of their being rat bastids. It looks like a disconnect between cause and effect to me. Not that I am saying that disconnect is all bad, some folks do merit a second or third chance, but you know....
Sometimes Instant Karma *is* the right way to do things. Sometimes the people in your life who want you to be a *sheep* in their *flock* do not deserve the privilige of walking on two legs in an upright fashion (so unlike the herd animals that are on their minds *so much*). Sometimes you do want the Rat Bastids in your life to look like they are *Rat* Bastids.
Sometimes you do want the Bad People (tm) in your life to get theirs, sooner rather than later (or never). And sometimes Good People (tm) need to be rewarded for their trials and efforts, sooner rather than later (or never), so that they don't give up hope.
--As for something else....I could never *ever* stand for being a Monotheistic, One True God. It's just so lonely and boring. Not to mention difficult for ordinary people to relate to in the absence of brain damage.
So I'd have to invite a few select, worthy friends up into the Pantheon. ^_^ People I could party with, without having to worry about how frail and mortal they are. And this way we could sell the notion as something a lot less scary than what it is.
People could cope with other humans on this earth becoming "Heroes", you know? But the idea of a mortal man, especially one as messed up as *I* am, becoming "god", the Almighty, well....you can play it for jokes for a while, but at the end of the day some folks will still be pissing their pants and *hating themselves* for being so (rightfully) scared. And that just isn't a healthy way for anyone, man or beast, to live...
Just my paltry two cents....take it as you will. ^_^ Have a good one, and bless you my brother! ^_~ (*cue up those chanting monks, dang it!*)
