Granted his portrait will hang in the ROGUES GALLERY of the Wort American Presidents, but maybe the caption will read " War Mongering Liar/Thief " ? or " Weasel "

Derek: except for idiological conservatives who venerate the memory of Saint Ronnie, many see Reagan as a grade B movie actor who read the lines handed him and understood nothing.

I am not seeing a lot of love for GWB.
Perhaps he ought not to have let his daddy steal the 2000 election for him.

Paul C: We will be rid of him eventually, thank providence. As far as being John Wayne or Gary Cooper, A lot of minor dictators were unwavering in their beliefs and actions. That does not make them admirable.

Wolf: Tax cuts and war ? That's it ? How about borrowing trillians from the Chinese for his war - that future generations will repay ?

Bruce L: Thankfully he is on the way out..I think.
I am thinking of Bush as the person who caused this war in the first place. After our bungling invasion of a weakly defended country, a lot of Moslems are JUSTIFIED in wanting to hand us our heads.
I see Bush as the root cause and enabler of this war, not some heroic defender of the true democracy.

a war-mongering, incompetent, sober (sic) drunk, who was the decider, commander guy that tried to take over the government of the US and institute a totalitarian fascist state but failed.

I don't think we will really know for 20-30 years or so. We will have to wait and see what the long-term affects of this era of the war on terror are.

It hasn't been that long that Reagan's legacy has been in place, and he wasn't really a major wartime President (unless you count the Cold War, which was not really war but diplomacy) People still haven't decided how history will treat George H.W. Bush's presidency.

Bush is a president who does what he says. After he has made a decision he stands by it. Some people hate presidents or people for that matter who stick to their decisions. By what I have seen in the more recent elections, people like politicians who talk out of all sides of their mouth pandering to whatever crowd they are with at the time. Personally I feel most all politicians are all liars. Thank God we have at least one man who means what he says. I do not always agree with President Bush but at least I have no drought where he stands on most issues.

Grant was a much better President than being referred to "as a drunk", and Bush, well, probably quite poorly.

Nothing.

Future Generations will see Bush as being so bad, they will white out his name in books and cover up his picture everywhere.

the president that saw the need to meet terrorism head on and take measures to fight terrorism and save your sorry a** from getting your head severed with the dull blade of an Islamic Jihadist, hell bent on converting you.

you see wrong, your conscience may tell you that you deserve to be beheaded by a Muslim but mine doesn't.
Bush did not start this, he had barely got the chair warm in the oval office when these idiots did this. YOU ARE WRONG.

Picture a puppet that has its strings pulled by Dick Cheney. It would be funny if the results weren't so tragic.
