I installed starcraft the other day and everything installed fine, when I go to play it I get into the screen where is says blizzard, but then the screen goes black for a minute and I get this error message:

The instaruction at 0x10006bfa refreneced memory at 0xffffffff. The memory could not be read.

Click ok to terminate the program.

I checked under device manager to see if anything was off, but there was nothing I could see. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok that error can indicate a number of things

The first things I would try is

Check that you have all windows updates installed (www.windowsupdate.com)

Run a virus scan AND a spyware scan, there are a lot of free utilities out there on yahoo.

Shut down your computer and enter the case (WARNING: This may void your warranty if applicable)

Remove the memory and clean the gold contacts with an erasor, blow away the remnants. Reinsert the memory.

Try downloading that free software to test your ram memory.

Can't think of anything else clearly off the top of my head but one of those should help, be very careful with the memory thing.
