I have heating and ac controls in the middle of the van for passengers in the rear. When I look online at replacement condensers the ones that can handle both dual and regular look much different than what I have. My condenser has the silver tube attached to it. I doubt Ill get any real answers here but maybe Ill get lucky. Thanks, Todd

"Dual Air" would mean that you have two evaporator coils. One in the front (hiding unter the dash or hood) and one in the back typically up in the ceiling with a drain tube that allows condensation drip out of the back of the vehicle on the ground. Two wet spots in the driveway on a hot humid day.

You don't have to get too technical, just look for the drain tube under the rear end.

Having "dual controls" can mean that you have piped in cool air from the front evaporator coil (all of the older model passenger vans were like this) or perhaps control the air flow from a rear mounted evaporator coil.

You can also run your VIN number by the local GM dealer and ask them. The part number will also ID the whole shebang.

Good Luck!

If you have controls in the middle you have dual air. Keep in mind sometimes the pictures online don't represent the actual part. They just show a generic condenser, the same one in all the pics. Can either try an auto parts store and eyeball the actual part, or take your chances online. Possibly ebay may even have one, with an actual picture.

if you have controls in the front and rear, you have dual air. once you change a condensor, you will need to vacum out the whole system with a power motor, for about an hour, and then replace both the 134a and about 1/2 the oil required for the system to get it to work right.
