Hey, its an honest question that shows the wrong on the sides of both major political parties. Anything else and the democrats might jump on Bush with both feet, just because they can. SO why are the same "hypocisy-crats" quiet as church-mice about these matters? Hmm. ....and who, then, is supporting the will of the average working American? -Oops.

The dems need a new crop of downtrodden to lie to.

More people on welfare = more votes for Hillary or Obama.
They'll drain this country dry if it means they get elected.

Thank You for this question. The truth of the matter is that both parties are in the pockets of Corporate America. You are quite right that no one supports the will of the average citizen. Washington politicians are so out of touch with the proletariat and so in touch with corporate CEOs that they haven't a clue. These two major parties have both grown stale and corrupt over the years. Your statement/question reflects this. The recent support of continuing the war by Dems should plainly show there is little real difference between the parties and their arguments make most of Hollywood take a back seat. Their dramatic posturings and positions are only further delusions to distract from their actual intent.

Democratic Senator Ted Kennedy..is the main proponent of the latest immigration reform bill..which happens to do nothing, really, for securing the borders....more for the illegal aliens, already in the country.

You have to understand...majority of both parties are for "open" borders...do some research on the..
NAFTA SUPERHIGHWAY
SPP.GOV
AND...THE NORTH AMERICAN UNION

Open borders are part of the bigger plan..for the elitist.

Both parties are willing to sell us down the Rio Grande...in another 20 years...the USA will be just another 3rd world country.

Homeland Security..is a joke...12-20million people in our country, and no one knows who they are..or where they are...nothing has changed since 9-11.

Our brave soldiers are losing their lives to securing the border between Iran and Iraq..while both our borders are basically...wide open.

It's time for more citizens to get informed and involved.

Well, the question of illegal immigration is a little more complex than that. American expansion is due to foreign workers. Outsourcing, as well as turning a blind eye to illegal immigration, has allowed us to continue to experience steady growth under "war time" conditions as well as with a massive budget deficit. Without immigration, illegal or otherwise, America would be at near negitive population growth, which is currently causing some economic stagnation in Europe and Japan. I have no doubt that it also has to do with keeping wages down and busting unions, but that is just a sidenote to the whole issue. Economic growth can not be sustained without outsourcing and illegal immigration. That's the only thing Bush and the Democrats agree on -- and they never agree on anything.

Republican who disgree are more times than not trying to score cheap political points and get reelected by their xenophobic constituants.

Good question. Most of those screaming that a fence or wall at the border is a bad idea, are the same ones who find it cozy and convient to live in gated communities. Who are they trying to keep out? America SHOULD be a gated community.
Just ask an American Indian what happens when you don't stand tough on immigration.
We don't need new laws, reform or even "amnesty." What we need is a policy that allows the local law enforcement the duty to enforce the law, not force them to turn a blind eye.

The Democrats will not Bash Bush on immigration because they want amnesty just like Bush, they don't want to muddy the water, they will let bush take all the flack and they will get what they want in the end.

Folk from all parties and no parties are 'bashing' the Bush Junta...and for good reason. There's never been such a bunch of consistantly incompetent bozos in all of American history. This administration is now down to 25% approval rate....that has to tell you something...it says nothing to Bush of course because he's just the frontman and Stooge-In-Chief for the Oil Mafia, the corporate dons and the right wing Jesus freaks....folks that certainly ain't 'lookin' out for you!

I have ask the Democrats about the same question you asked here. For reasons not known to anyone, the Democrats are pussy footing with Bush. It gives an impression that the Democrats are definitely afraid to rile up Georgie Bushie.
