Morality is an individual assessment. I'm not going to go with a YES or NO. It is for each and every person to decide for themself.
I could not have an abortion, but I am NOT going to judge someone else's choices.

I do not think so. I would rather error on the side of caution on this one. The fact that a fetus could be an individual human life means that morally it should be treated as such. While it is immoral, it is still legal in this country and I do not see that changing in the foreseeable future. What is legal is not necessarily moral or ethical. It is legal to cheat on your spouse, yet most people would consider this immoral.
I feel that there is no evidence to support the claim that aborting all unwanted babies will effect the crime rate in this country, as some are trying to make. There are far too many other factors which effect the crime rate to narrow it down to this conclusion.

being a guy...thank god i will never have to make this choice.
To try and paraphase my thoughs will be tough but.
Abortion should be a case by case incident. That involves a trial. For the first time no one should be denied the abortion. However if the reasons are selfish it should also include a hisdoretimy. Exp. A gril who is 17 refuses to use birth control or is just a plain skank could get her abortion but also be fixed right afterword.
rape victims would be allowed abortions and medical reasons would be aswell.
wait theres more.
The fathers...and i use that term very loosely... should have to pay ALL OF THE BILLS. Maybe then they would learn to keep it wrapped or keep it in their britches. I'm sure there are holes in my plan but its better than what we got now.
I'm am pro life but i also have just a bit of sense.
The reason I feel this way is due to a girl I gratuated with. She has had 2 abortions both trying to trap men into marriage. The men said the would take full responsibiltiy for their children but have nothing to do with her (because she is crazy) so she kills off the babies. Unfortunaitly the law gives no right to fathers trying to keep their children. One of the guys attempted suicide due to his religous belifes. (yeah i know makes no sense)
On a side note the pro choice politicans are the same people trying to protect the Alaskan Grey Wolfs. You know wolfs? The dogs that will kill a pregnat female in fear of compition for food. Kinda hypocritical.

I don't think that it is moral in most cases, but I believe that the woman should be the only person allowed to choose. I think it is moral if there is no chance the baby will survive and it will help the mother survive. Men should have no say in the choice over a complete stranger wants to get an abortion or not.

Different people think different things are moral. That doesn't mean they should be allowed to do what they think is moral if it hurts someone else.
For example, members of The Religious Right might think it is moral to discriminate against gays, and feel they are trying to save gays from eternal suffering by doing so. I don't think they should be allowed to deny gays the potential to be whatever they can become without hurting others, even if their intentions are good.
The same goes for those who think unborn babies are better off being denied the opportunity to become what they might become, even if they think they are saving the unborn from a miserable life as an "unwanted child."
I think we are a Nation that can do much better than denying anyone an opportunity to be what they can become. Women should not have to endure an unwanted pregnancy, but I think American medicine is probably advanced enough to develop ways to terminate pregnancies without killing the unborn. The moral thing to do, IMHO, would be to demand that such technology be developed, and support a right to life amendment that doesn't deny women the right to use it.

it depends on what the person's morals are. some people believe that anything that can grow is living while some people believe that at the time of birth it is a living human. it is a hard question to answer for some. i personally believe that it is wrong to have an abortion for me as i believe that it is a living thing and there are so many alternatives to prevent this from coming into play in the first place. it's different for everyone sweetie

This is something that Americans have been debating for years. (I don't know if it's an issue in other countries or not; I guess I need to educate myself.) I think it's really a question you have to ask yourself personally. Some people have abortions because they feel it's the best thing for them AND for whatever child may have been born. On the one hand, I feel that if two people have unprotected sex, they should have to deal with the consequences. On the other hand, why should a mother have to bear the responsibility on her own when she doesn't have the father around?

I can't force my opinions or views on others...however I am saved, and clearly it goes against the Word of God. God gives life and is the only one has the awesome power to create man...so for someone to take life goes against God's plan. If a man and woman create a child through sex they should think about the consequences beforehand. Instead some people think about it after a baby has been made...abortion shouldn't be used for birth control. I do realize there are instances such as rape (and I know that's tough and individuals have to live with their own choices) Abortion isn't right and is immoral.

i don't really think that abortion is moral. The gift that you were given is growing inside you, it can feel, and think and hear, its a part of you and it is as alive and human as you are, why would you want to give that up? You made the choice to roll around like a weasle, now the girl is pregnet, take care of the child, its a part of you, its like someone leathly injecting you and killing you. The baby cannot fight back, it can just be killed without ever knowing who its parents were. And a child murderdered in the womb could be someones hero one day, and getting an abortion just took that away from the world.

It is (or should be) a serious moral dilemma. When does the fetus obtain a soul? Is any "life" , human or otherwise possible without one?
When does a fetus become "human?
Do they have rights before they become citizens? They become citizens at birth, not conception. Oops, that's legal not moral.
Does rape change the moral equation or is that just situation ethics? But is it morally right to legally require a rape victim to carry that child to term?
I think it is morally wrong even as I have counselled my daughter to have one, and my girlfriend, and a dear friend also.
I think it is a dilemma where morality is only one consideration. We are, after all dealing with human beings who make stupid decisions and should not be required to pay for their mistakes for decades. And worse, make some innocent pay as well, perhaps.
