All computers have a battery, just like a watch battery, which keeps the time and other things when the computer is turned off. Replace this and all will be fine! It is located on the motherboard.

You need to replace the battery that backs up the power to the CMOS memory. It's a flat silver disc on the motherboard like a camera battery (CR2025 or CR2032).

You need a new motherboard battery.
It's easy to spot, and usually a CR 2032 button cell. Very common.

It may not be just the motherboard Battery, it could also be the motherboard it's self. I had that problem and putting a new battery in it did not resolve the problem.
