but you didn't know for sure how she felt about you and you were scared of rejection so left the woman alone and went onto a woman that did show more interest. But even after you did this, you couldn't get your mind off of the woman you really wanted. Do you keep what you have and move on, or would you over come your fear of rejection. How would you handle this one?

Noone likes rejection, but if people never took chances, there would be no babies! Anyone can settle for the easy way. If something is worth having, it's worth risking something as simple as being rejected.

If you never ask the question, you'll never get the answer. The worst that could happen is she says "No." Rejection won't kill you, and in fact we learn from it. Better to know for sure so that you are free to move on, than to spend the rest of your life forever wondering about 'what if...'
