No. I had an affair on my first husband. Now I am remarried to a completely different man. I don't think affairs generally make long lasting relationships, no matter what they might think at the time.

This is an interesting question. I would like to see the real statistics. I am not married although I could be. I am not in a hurry. Life has a way of changing the way we feel about marriage and responsibility. I don't want to be married to someone who treats me mean. If marriage is a prison and we have no choice but be controlled by our spouses, I just don't want to get married. I refuse to stay somewhere I am mistreated. Most people feel differently about a bad situation until they are in it.

Well, I'm in thie middle of it right now. Getting my divorce as we speak, but my girlfriend won't talk to me. I hope she comes back, because I'm doing this for us. I married the wrong one.
