Just having the Blue Badge will not get you off paying the toll. You need to be driving a vehicle that is exempt from paying road fund licence ie; no road tax. The "badge " means nothing. You get exemption if you get Mobility Allowance at the Higher rate. And to all those "clever" people that think being disabled is fun and all about getting "freebies", simple, you can have all the "privileges" I just want your legs, then lets see how funny you find it !

A blue badge entitles you to certain parking privileges in view of your disability. Road tolls are nothing to do with accessibility and therefore you are not exempt. Just as in some multi-storey car parks you still have to pay, although you get to use the disabled parking spaces close to the shopping entrances.

Hi Just being a blue badge holder is nothing to do with the road tax concession. you have to be in receipt of disabled living allowance at the high rate component for mobility to get a tax exemption certificate. so it is not an automatic right all is explained in a publication at your local library the publication is the disability rights handbook. it is a reference document so it can not be taken away but can be purchased through her majesty's stationery office. so try w.h. smith to order a copy.

There are no signs anywhere abouts to say not near the tunnel but i would think you would as you are still using the tunnel and it doesn't affect your circumstances to use the tunnel. Its only £1.25 for a car or something like that.
