Follow there 3 basic rules for best computer security.

1. Always use only one anti-virus.
2. Always use only one firewall.
3. Always use at least 2 anti-spyware programs.

The most important rule is #1. Using 2 (or more, ugh!) A-Vs can cause major conflicts when 2 scan engines fight over which one gets to scan any file that you read, write, or execute. This leaves you with LESS protection, not more! And cause big computer slowdowns.

Good luck.

No. You already have too many anti virus programs. If Yahoo provides it, then that's all you need. So get rid of McAfee and Norton. If you have more than one anti virus program, one of them creates a virus. So iif your computer has been having viruses, that's likely the reason. By the way, you forgot to say what you have Norton on, but it's really obvious. IF you have a lap top and a desk top computer, though...... I wish I had both.
Any, I hope that answers your posted question and one that wasn't posted but thought, as well.

For your information you can only run one antivirus program or you will have serious conflict with your system. You can use two or three antispyware without conflict.

Sounds to me by your question that you have more then one antiviurs program installed. You need to remove one or not renew McAfee if it is an antivirus program.

Yes you should have you own anti-virus protection. Remember you can not at any time have 2 anti-virus programs installed. They will cause you problems.
