I install a new cold air intake, the car will start, but it doesnt stay on???

If you have a K&N air filter or similar that is washable and then re-oiled, the oil can be misted into the airstream and coat your Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) initially when the air filter is first installed. Try carefully cleaning your MAF element using the CRC MAF cleaner product in the link below. Some cars have tamper resistant screws holding the MAF sensor in, but you can remove and clean them.

did you plug in or reinstall the mass air flow sensor? what make,modle is your car would be helpfull.
