If I were in the service--I'd go because that's what one does. If I weren't--I'd have to think long and very hard before I joined.

Either way, this is what happens when you don't vote...

How would I "know" that, other than by the statements of those who support the war? Now, we have already suffered 2 terrorist attacks on US soil (1993 & 2001), and prevented some others.
And of course, access to oil by the US and other nations is a serious matter; wars have been fought over less.
But the fact that gas prices have risen so much suggests that oil was not the motive for the war. The oil companies are not blaming lack of access for their high prices. They say the demand for oil and its products has increased worldwide and that recently there have been significant problems with refineries processing petroleum into gasoline. The price is not all due to lack of access.

There is no "If" about it. I DO know the real and absolute reason for this war was oil and not terrorism, as well as the inside doing of the attacks on 911. (WATCH: googlevideos: 911 demolitions.)
That's all I have to say. Everyone else is too ignorant and stupid to come to that conclusion and stand up to the real terrorists located in this country...

Fight? Are you kidding? The people there are dying for a selfish, administrative, awful reason. Despicable.

This question underscores both your ignorance of the oil industry and your hatred of the President. I don't think you want an answer to a position you already hold. Intelligent, thoughtful questions will get you intelligent thoughtful answers. Stupid questions will get you stupid answers. Like this one. Because of your ignorance and hatred, you are likley not open to new information. So, no matter what anyone answers, you will remain ignorant and full of hate.

no. i do think to go electric is the answerfor cars owned by citizens. That said question ,would this work for the army. i am not sure an electric tank would work or an electric jeep or armored perssonel carrier. the power would be easy to knock out . it would need a well protected power source.this would make non military sites at risk for being confused with military electrical sources. even if the army could be supplied with electricity and electric powered military vehicles worked the energy would be costly to the environment. i also do not see solar powered missiles as something to slobber over even if they worked. you know a sort of soloc and awe thing. abbriviation solar shock and awe . that said i preffer electric vehicles driven by citizens

There's no true basis for this war, aside from Bush's ignorance.

His ol' man knew that invading Iraq would be a SNAFU of huge proportions. Too bad Jr. couldn't listen to those smarter than himself.

Bush did say oil is one of the reason. More than one occasion. By saying we can't let our enemies take control of our energy source. It's not like people are trying to hide it.

NO!!!!!!! And I don't understand how anyone would want to kill for oil! Other sources, CLEANER sources of energy have been presented to our government, yet oil is what we're fighting for?! They lose money with cleaner energy, which is why we are at war....Better to them to destroy lives and get their money-grubbing hands on that oil, than to do what's ecologically right for our planet's future, right?! WRONG!!!!!!!

I'm not "for" the war by any means, but we certainly aren't getting any of Iraq's oil. So that can't really be the reason why we're there I don't think.

I knew that long before.
How can a person( a terrorist) without any technology and weapon, hide himself.
Does it make sense that we still cannot find his location ?
I wouldn't want to fight .
