How does one go about becoming a U.N peace Keeper?

The US armed forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines)usually run their own peacekeeping and humanitarian programs separate from the UN, I.E. Kosovo, Pacific Tsunami Disaster.
Being a UN Peacekeeper isn't the best idea, they have a bad reputation, especially in not- keeping the peace and corruption and other, more terrible issues.
Your chances of being kidnapped by Terrorists is very good since the UN peacekeepers and their program has a bad reputation world-wide and peacekeepers carry very light weapons and they have to go through a very bureaucratic system to fire them. One just was killed today in Darfur.

President Clinton was famous for deploying U.N. Peacekeepers...the U.S. Military. So, join the Army or Marines; sooner or later you would get to be a Peacekeeper. Remember the movie, "Black Hawk Down"? THAT is Clinton politics!

Not sure how to be a direct peacekeeper but ifyou wanted to join the UN you'd just have to have the ability to lie, cheat, steal and basically do what is completly wrong for anyone than yourself.

why would anyone want to join an inept organization like that? unless they wanted the inside track to bilking the world out of its money. the UN is rotten and corrupt.
